Deptford Creek Bird Surveys

Sunday April 30th, 10:30 - 12:30

 

Join us as we survey the birdlife of the Creek.  We will meet at Creekside and then start surveying at the southern end of the Creek and make our way north to the where the Creek meets the Thames.  Learn how to identify birds in the local area, and how to record them.  No experience necessary, bring binoculars if you have a pair, though we have some which you can use.

Bluebell Walk at Beckenham Place Park

April 30th, 2pm-4:30pm

It's thirty years since the public inquiry to decide the fate of the park. It was spared from development… How have the Bluebells, woodlands and other habitats fared since? Nick Bertrand. Meet outside Mansion House (What3Words ///still.peanut.improving). Nearest station Beckenham Hill. Joint with London Natural History Society and Friends of Beckenham Place Park.
