Education for University Groups

Creekside is a unique urban environment. With rich floral diversity and access to a tidal Creek, our centre offers many learning opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students and university staff.

With highly experienced Conservationists and Educators, we can make sure your group is paired up with the staff member most suited to your learning needs.

Sessions cost £395 for a 2.5 hour visit, for a group of up to 30 people in total. 

 

 

 

Programmes available:


University group visit

A University visit usually comprises of:

  • An introduction to Creekside Education Trust and Creekside Discovery Centre
  • A interactive, engaging Low Tide Walk in Deptford Creek last 1.5-2hrs. This will include opportunities to closely study the flora and fauna of the local environment, and understand how the river and wildlife interact with the built environment. 
  • A debrief and Q&A for 20-30 mins to finish
  • To supplement your guided experience, classroom space can be booked for self-led activities at an additional cost
