Tuesday May 30th, 13:30 - 15:30

During the London Rivers Week  we will be participating in the WaterBlitz project organized by Thames21.

On the 30th of May at 13:30pm we will be taking water samples from Deptford Creek. This event is for local people, families and citizen scientists. The project aims to identify ongoing pollution issues impacting the Ravensbourne Catchment (Including Ravensbourne, Pool, Chaffinch Brook, The Beck, Quaggy, Kyd Brook). We will also do a river dipping for younger children to learn how to look at water quality via identifying living things in the Creek. The event is a part of a new river conservation series -  Don't Rubbish Deptford Creek!

Meeting point Creekside Discovery Centre.

Waders and dipping equipment provided.

Suitable for children 5+

All funds go towards our education and conservation activities.

This session is part of our "Don't Rubbish Deptford Creek!" series of river conservation events.
