Celebrate 40 years since the creation of Sue Godfrey Nature Park - a site for the local community to enjoy the natural world and for nature to have some space.
Join us for a fun day with workshops, guided walks, wader wanging and just hanging out on this wonderful island of calm.

This FREE, family-friendly event is packed with activities for everyone:
- Wild Plant Discovery – learn the names of our local flora and how to spot them
- Knot-Tying Workshop – bone up on your knot skills, useful in all walks of life
- Wader Wanging – how far can you launch a Creekside wader?!
- Arts & Crafts – visit our Sue Godfrey Nature Park exhibition and then unleash your creativity with a variety of our arts and crafts activities for all ages
- Herbarium Workshop – get wild and creative in the world of local plant preservation

The event also provides a great opportunity for visitors to see our new habitat and access improvements to the park, thanks to support from the Mayor of London, Lewisham Council and a generous local donor.
