Local Wildflowers Survey: Sue Godfrey Nature Park - Saturday 19th October 2024
Saturday 19th October, 10:30 - 12:30
Get ready for a petal-packed adventure, a walk looking at the wildflowers around Creekside Discovery Centre!
We will be looking at the grounds of the Sue Godfrey Nature Park.
Throughout 2024, we have been working to improve Sue Godfrey Local Nature Reserve habitat features. Join us to study the impact of our work as we survey the scrapes created around the park. Our Conservationist, Andy, will guide you through the park, explaining how to identify specific plants and sharing more information about them.
Whether you are an expert or a complete beginner, this will be a chance to get outdoors and explore the wildlife on your doorstep.
What to expect:
- a guided walk recording the plants we see
- help with identifying plants visually
- information about our Rewild London project enhancing the biodiversity of the local area
By joining survey activities, you will better understand seasonal cycles and improve your ID skills.
What to bring?
- enthusiasm and curiosity
- comfortable footwear and warm clothes
