Family Activity - Easter Duck Race! - Wednesday 16th April 2025

Family Easter Duck Race - 16th April, 10.30-12.30

This Easter break, come down to Deptford Creek and launch your duck to victory!

We'll start by wading into the river, learning about the ducks and other wild birds that live in this area - maybe we'll even see some of our neighbours who will be getting ready to breed this spring! Once we have made it to the start line, each of your ducks will take part in a race for a place in the final. The winner of the final will receive a special Creekside Prize! 

This activity is suitable for all ages, however only those 8+ will be able to enter Deptford Creek (they do not need to be accompanied by an adult but if possible this is preferable). Children under 8 and their adults can do some duck crafts in our classroom, before joining to observe the duck racing from the Ha'penny Hatch Bridge. 

There is a limit of 3 children per adult for this activity. Each child ticket includes 1 duck entry for the duck race. Please book a ticket for every person in your group.
