Meet Me on a Caravan Tour
 

An interactive storytelling tour with older Lewisham residents and local artists in a vintage caravan.

This project brings the stories of Meet Me members to Deptford X, through an interactive installation and a storytelling tour in a vintage caravan. From 26th to 30th

September we’ll be stopping in 4 local sites, inviting the public to join us around a fire with food, music and magical tales. 

This is a co- produced project between Caravan Arts and Meet Me at the Albany.

Meet Me is an arts and social club for over 60s based at the Albany, Deptford.

Caravan Arts is a non profit mobile arts space and micro venue in a vintage caravan. I co-curate projects in wild, rural & urban settings with artists & communities.

Sarah Phillips is a producer and curator, currently doing a PhD on art and migration and oral storytelling practices within this.

We’ve been working with storytelling artist, Bernadette Russell and textiles artist, Barbara Majek.
