Creekside Open Day - Saturday 17th September 2022

We're excited to announce Creekside Discovery Centre Open Day on Saturday 17th September. Join us to get up close and personal with wild plants and animals that share the bit of the planet we live on. Explore the river, learn more about local nature and meet the team from the Centre. There will be plenty free things to do for children and adults, we will have:
- Pond dipping, bug hunting, crab race & wildflowers with the Creekside Team
- Slimewatch with Dr Susi Arnott exploring the microscopic life of Deptford Creek
- Low Tide Walk Tasters - additional booking required
- Creative sculpture workshop, part of the Creek Dreams exhibition by Victoria Rance and Madi Acharya-Baskerville
- Interactive Creekshow performance with Rita's Kitchen's Jenny Witzel
- New displays of archeological founds from Deptford Creek
- Vegan BBQ and refreshments
