Discover Deptford's Flora with Nick

First, find out! This should be everybody’s motto. Join Nick for an excursion around Deptford and discover a world of local flora. This walk is part of a series of monthly walks exploring wild plants and how they respond to the ever-growing list of changes. Air quality, climate, rising human population, loss of habitat, an increasing number of dogs, and never-ending developments all significantly impact wild species and spaces in London. Some wildflowers struggle to survive, while others benefit from the changes taking place.

Come and learn about the resilience and adaptability of wild plants in our urban environment. This event is perfect for nature enthusiasts, families, and anyone interested in the impact of urbanisation on local flora. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and explore the beauty of Deptford's wild plants!
