Join us on our traditional hunt for wildflowers in flower on the first day of winter. We’ve been doing it since 2009. Last year, we found 85 species of wildflowers still in flower. How many will we find this year?

 

Meet at Deptford Station, London's oldest surviving railway station, at 10.30 am.

 

From there, we shall head out into the wilds of Deptford, looking for truly wild wildflowers. What will we find this year? After lunch, we will continue our floristic foray, ending up at Creekside Discovery Centre.

 

We will be joined by members of the London Natural History Society.

 

If you are unable to do the whole walk you can join us after for a Winter Warmer with crafting and marshmallows by the fire. The Centre will be open and we will be here to welcome you from 15.30 to 17.30.
